Goldn partners with major player in formulation intelligence to better serve growing number of beauty brands & cosmetic product developers

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 18, 2022Goldn GmbH, a San Francisco-German technology company and developer of an industry-first, easy-to-use cosmetic product development ecosystem, today announced a strategic partnership with Good Face Project, the San Diego-based SaaS company and major player in formulation and regulatory compliance intelligence.

In 2021, Goldn launched its web-based Cosmetic Product Builder to guide cosmetic product creators through the different phases of product development, streamlining the creation process from concept development to collaboration with cosmetic suppliers, significantly decreasing time-to-market.

The Good Face Project’s AI-powered Formulator serves as a cosmetics R&D lab in the cloud, helping product creators navigate complex regulatory and formulation requirements during product development. The Good Face Formulator is powered by a proprietary INCI-level ontology featuring 120,000+ ingredients mapped across 15 dimensions of efficacy and safety.

With technology playing an increasingly critical role in beauty brands’ marketing strategies and product launches, cosmetic companies seek digital solutions to coordinate teams, manage supply networks, navigate regulatory requirements, and get to market fast.
